Maps


This map show the area to the northeast of Glasgow city centre. The canal starts just south of Bishopbriggs and heads northeast to Kirkintilloch.


This map shows the location of Falkirk in relation to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

    All the old familiar place names...I knew a friend from colllege days whose home stood alongside the canal somewhere at the top of Hope Street, not far from Dundas Street Station in the city.  I doubt if there are any landmarks there now as new developments are always going up in Glasgow these days.  I always get lost when I visit in the car.  Lol!
