Midnight gloaming
This composite panoramic picture was stitched together using Olympus Master, the program that comes with my camera. It wasn't as light as the picture shows; the individual photographs were taken with a 4 second exposure, so a degree of over-exposure is likely. Other pictures, shown separately above, were mostly taken with 'normal' exposure. How did I keep the camera still enough? By balancing it on the railings posts that line the road to the Coastguard Station where I took the pictures from.
One picture in the gallery above shows just a bright dot. That's the planet Jupiter. Below, I'm including the enhanced version. You can even discern its reflection in the water.
