In spite of the occasional downpour, the Lewis Carnival procession made
its way through the town between 2 and 3pm. There were a fair few
floats about, with one about the situation surrounding the airtraffic
controllers being very topical. Everybody was out on the street to view
it, and I recorded a couple of minutes of video footage, which I'll put
on a separate entry. I have yet to upload it, and the 97MB is only just
within YouTube's limitations. The above pics show a selection of
stills - enlarge them to be able to read the text.
