Wednesday notes

Reasonably bright morning, with the odd shower. Mrs B has had some redecorating done in the house, in the shape of painting, getting a few items of new furniture and such like.

The regional chief constable was caught speeding on the A9, doing 72 mph in a 60 mph limit. He conceded that he had made a mistake. He did better than some of his officers who wangled their way out of prosecution after doing 145 mph by stating they were testing the vehicle. Like heck.
