Don Maclean sang a song about the 19th century Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh. This video, on Youtube, uses Maclean's song as a backdrop to a slideshow of Van Gogh's work.

A view of Lewis for the world - A view of the world from Lewis
I like this very much. I think I liked Van Gogh's winter paintings the best of all. Thanks for sharing this :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I actually had Don Maclean's album back in the 70's! Uh, oh, I'm dating myself! I do like a lot of his art. Thanks for sharing. Today's weather was worse than day before yesterday when Hurricane Fay was to have been at its worst. It has been windy, rainy and very gloomy all day. I imagine it will continue through the night too. And we're on the fringe not even bearing the brunt of it. Linda
ReplyDeleteDelightful compilation! (Hugs)Indigo
