I think the 40 people who attended the J-land chat last night will agree that it was a great success, if I may say so myself. Tomorrow morning, I'll upload the log and I'll post the URL for it. It's not as large as the previous chatlog.
An important piece of news, that came out right at the very end:
Gina, motoxmom72, is going to organise a J-land convention, and has already created a journal. This will probably take place in the northeastern USA in the summer of 2007. Yes, I am talking about a meeting in real life.
No further details as yet, any cooperation would be very, very welcome. The evil trio involved in this enterprise are Gina (Motoxmom72), Cathy (Luddie343) and Guido (Pharmolo).

I ran this idea by Joe, Scalzi, Jamie Mottram (AOL Sports), the late Bob Wooldridge (head of AOL Community) and even Ted Leonsis himself. No replies from any of them.

I'd volunteer my house on Cape Cod, but I have 2 babies and a Sloppy Dog. We could do it on a beach, though. That sounded wrong.
