This applies to the UK, from Cornwall north to southwest Scotland: Winds up to force 11 are likely in the Southwestern Approaches, the Irish Sea up to the Galloway coast. Gusts up to or in excess of 80 mph are possible, leading to structural damage.
People in the areas adjacent to the coastal points mentioned below should closely monitor the Met Office bulletins.

Lyme Regis to Land's End including the Isles of Scilly
Southerly winds will increase to force 6 to gale force 8 early
this afternoon, and to severe gale force force 9 or storm force 10 by
early evening. Violent storm force 11 is likely around western Cornwall
and the Isles of Scilly.
Land's End to St David's Head including the Bristol Channel
Southerly winds will increase to force 6 to gale force 8 this
afternoon, and to severe gale force force 9 or storm force 10 this
evening. Violent storm force 11 is likely around Land's End and St
David's Head.
St David's Head to Colwyn Bay including St George's Channel
Southerly winds will increase to force 6 to gale force 8 later
this afternoon, and to severe gale force force 9 or storm force 10 this
evening.
