Tropical storm MAN-YI is heading its way into typhoon-status as it leaves Micronesia behind overnight (GMT). They are 10 hours ahead of GMT actually. The typhoon-to-be will turn into a monstrous category 4 system, which looks like taking aim for Naha and southwestern Japan by the weekend. Watch this space.
