Whale escapes

The juvenile minke whale, which was trapped in the harbour of Fraserburgh, northeast Scotland, for three days, has made its way back to sea. After several previous attempts, a flotilla of boats made noise underwater, attracting the attention of the creature which then left the port of its own volition. The animal's mother had been waiting outside the port all the while. Experts had stated that the whale was not distressed, but was getting hungry and tired. Let's hope it's now catching up on some feeding, after the clip round the ear from its mum.
