I'm afraid I'll have to pour cold water on some people's expectations: I am not attending any of the main events this year - not attracted to any bands performing. The Proclaimers are alright, but I tend to switch off after 2 or 3 numbers. I heard the Peatbog Faeries in 2005, but they had decided to alter their music and stopped liking them. And the rest is too obscure. In 2005, I attended a concert by Runrig, which was a great occasion. The diary entry of that event is quite succinct.

There's no sense in going to something just for the sake of going. If none of the bands really appeal, then it would be a waste of your time when you could be doing something else. I don't worry about people's expectations. I have been delivered from public opinion!

Not much point in going just for the sake of it. I like the Proclaimers. Never heard of Peatbog Faeries though.I hope the weather stays fine.

It's ok Guido. I had mentioned I wanted to see pictures thinking that you were going to attend the festival. If not...then take pics of something else to share! You always have such beautiful photos to share.
