Tombstoning could earn you one

In recent years, this craze has developed along the British coastline where people leap off high points along the seashore. I'm talking piers, cliffs, breakwaters and what have you.

Yesterday evening, five middle-aged men decided to jump off Clacton Pier in Essex. Two were found lying face-down in the water, one had drowned at that point. The other is now in intensive care in hospital. Previous tombstoners injured their spine after jumping off a 30 ft cliff.

It's one thing jumping off a high place - as long as you know what's at the bottom. If you don't, then tombstoning could end up earning you a tombstone.
