Tropical storm 04W, to be called Man-yi, is developing in the Pacific and will move northwest towards Taiwan. Before it reaches there, the system will have winds of 125 knots (1 knot = 1.125 mph). Beyond that, the forecasters aren't really sure what will happy apart from 'a turn to the north'. Will keep an eye open later next week.
A cyclone could also be about to develop south of Baja California. The NHC will keep us up to date on that one, and if it threatens land later on, I'll of course give it a mention.
