Late light
Over the next few weeks, I am going to once again display my usual pictures of "how light it still is at such a late hour". The sun set at 9 pm tonight. By late June, this time will be 10.35pm. Here are a few pics.

I remember when I spent a summer in Norway that it never got totally dark. We would have "twilight" around midnight and then it would lighten up again. That was hard for me to get used to.... Pam
Hi I remember a few years ago we were on Mainland Orkney for two weeks in June and it was never dark we were out looking for Corncrake after eleven and the locals play a round of golf at midnight on midsummers day. Love Joan. http://journals.aol.co.uk/jaymact1/JoansMusings/
This is the archive of entries of the Northern Trip blog, formerly hosted on AOL. It was kept from 8 October 2004 until 7 October 2008, after which blogging was resumed on Atlantic Lines.
