Are you connecting to the web through your own wireless network at home? If you are not careful, your network connection could be used by anyone with a laptop with wireless capability. MSN have listed a series of measures you can take to keep your network to yourself and to keep your connection safe.

I don't have a wireless connection...but one of my neighbors does. I found out 'cause a friend brought his laptop and we sat in my patio and he connected to the internet. He said someone in close vicinity had wireless. I couldn't believe it!

ReplyDeleteWe have three laptops and a Wii on wireless here at home. It takes a bit of time and effort to set up the security on the router, but it is worth it.
