20 July

I shall resume blogging on this journal as of next Tuesday, 22 July. Tomorrow I am travelling for nearly 12 hours, so I'll be pretty knackered at the end of it all. I have immensely enjoyed my visit to Holland, although the reason that sparked it off was very sad. Nonetheless, time has come to return northwest. I'll see y'all on Tuesday.

    As a US Southerner I loved how you said, "Ya'll".  

    And you are going to be so warmly received back into regular blogging.  I know the reasons you went are unbearably sad ones.  I look forward to Tuesday just because!

    I'm so glad that you've decided not to leave us, Guido.... J-land would never be the same without your 'smiling face'.  I pray that your father is also comfortable with your return now... and that he is healing from his loss.

    I'm glad you're returning.  There's a definite consensus in J-land that it wouldn't be the same here without you.  I'm glad you were able to find joy in your visit to Holland even under those circumstances.  Safe journey and looking forward to your entries and photos (speaking of which, nice pic in this entry!).

    Nice photo.  I did look at the photos of your flight back to Stornoway.  I am surprised that it was going to take 12 hours.  I think of Europe as a place of few miles, so therefore just a hop skip and jump here and there.  I flew to New York from Vegas in about 6 hours, but perhaps that big jet went much faster.  Gerry  http://journals.aol.com/gehi6/daughters-of-the-shadow-men/

    Well i am behind as usual........... almost read an entry regarding you being home and thought i was going crazy....... have inally got to this one that said you were going home. Welcome Back.
    12 hours.............wow..... was it by ferry ?? ( knows nothing about travelling)
