Hurricane update - 20 July

At 15.45 GMT (11.45 EDT), the National Hurricane Center declared tropical storm Dolly, located east of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The storm will traverse the peninsula and reemerge over the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a good deal of disagreement over the path of this storm, but it seems likely that it may make landfall near the Texas / Mexico border as a strong tropical storm or a hurricane, early on Thursday.

PLEASE RELAY

  1. We still haven't decided if we're taking that repositioning cruise or not. Have until August 7th to make our final decision. It will put us sailing out of Los Angeles on October 17th with various ports along the way, thru the Panama Canal and arriving in Miami on Nov 2nd.  Wish you could see into your crystal ball and see what that areas weather will be during that time frame.  Linda in WA

  3. Well, Hello Dolly.

(Okay, I just had to say that, especially after watching the WALL-E movie on Friday, where that musical is shown within the movie.)

Thanks for all your summary info and alerts on these!
