Alerts

I've decided to ditch AOL's New Entry alerts. When I come back, I shall be monitoring new entries through Google Reader, which appears to be slightly more reliable. Comment alerts I shall continue to receive, although I have to go to a non-AOL email to collect those. Don't even think of asking.

    I've been getting alerts just fine...are they picking on you ?  Linda in WA

    I've found Google Reader works 10 times better than relying on AOL Alerts. When alerts are down you still get notified of entries in Google. It takes a bit to load them all up into Google, but well worth it in the end. (Hugs)Indigo

    I've been using Google Reader for a little more than a year now, and I find it very reliable.  Of course I use AOL for comments, and I use AOL for private journals because Google won't read them.  I wonder if some other reader would?

    You folks are all so clever.  Iwould never have thought that I could get alerts any other way than these daft pop up things...I just ignore till I want to read them which is usually a couple of times a day...Love  Sybil xx
