I continue to be on journals break. I am only making entries to help everybody in amongst the carnage, caused by the announced shut-down of AOL Journals. You'll find those on Magic Smoke. I am pissed off beyond belief.

You are not the only one pissed off Guido in fact I could put it in stronger words if I was not a lady. I was assured by Vish that things like my visitors map, web-tracker, Technorati Gizmo, charity sites - in fact everything on my sidebar could be done just the same there. Not true. I have set up a journal and spent the entire evening trying to find a way and have found nothing. I do not think I shall be staying

You and me, both, Guido. Pissed off is a mild term in this case. I stood by when everyone else was shredding AOL for all their faults and weaknesses. Now this. I do feel a bit betrayed.

I just feel so badly let down and dumped regardless of my paying good money as a member of AOL. The journals are the only reason I come on-line. Apart from keeping in touch via e-mail with family & friends.

What a dreadful shock to think we might all become fragmented to different places and loose touch.

Ah, ha! I think the "pissed off" comment is what may have gotten you blocked from Magic Smoke. They only want happy little campers who will gratefully accept their assistance as they prepare to "sunset" out journals.
