AOL Help

As I reported this morning, I was unable to access my journal for a while. Sandra (Labdancer51) is emailing her comments to people, as she is experiencing similar lack of service. Whilst in the middle of this Denial of Service, I contacted AOL Live Help. They said my query was too complex for them to answer, and could I ring AOL. They denied my existence. So I emailed AOL. Got this pleasant, chatty, overlong reply. Thought I'd share that with you all. Sit back and relax.

Basically: they're experiencing some difficulty on the web.

Oh, the query I put to them was:

I am unable to logon to AOL webmail using the Pharmolo screenname. Neither am I able to log on to AOL journals to make entries or leave comments.

Please bear in mind that I said AOL webmail. This (in my view) means I am accessing through an external browser.

  8. It seems like nothing but a "form" letter that they just send out to everyone that sends in a question! What idiots they are! They didnt read your letter at all. I've gotten the same kind of letters before, and they've never helped me in anyway. Good luck Guido.
