Call for support

At least two animals of J-landers have gone over the Rainbow Bridge today, which has led to much sorrow. Lisa Jo's dog Maddie has been taken to the vet's for euthanasia by now after the poor creature's organs shut down altogether. [private journal]

A journaler I only discovered a few days ago, Life on a Bison Farm, describes the agony of her horse Bobby collapsing with what sounded like a twisted bowel. No treatment worked, and the horse has had to be put down as well.

Two J-landers have relatives undergoing eye surgery this week:
Helen's husband Ken has had his eyes done today
Donna's father is going to have his operation tomorrow.

And finally a big thank you for the dozen or so of you who went to Wumzels2's blog to encourage her to stay. Please put her on alerts, as future entries are likely to be few and far between.

  2. Oh, yes, Rainbow Briege for horses, too, definitely.  I haven't heard of that blog previously, either!   Prayers and yes, I'll visit.  Wumzels2 has cute kitty photos and a poem in hers, too, btw.
And, thanks for those sending prayers for my brothers recovery and good healing, also.  I have appreciated that.   -- Robin
