Ferry due on 7 October at 8pm

As regular readers know, I keep an eye on shipping in the Minch (the water between the Isle of Lewis and the Scottish mainland) using the AIS system on-line. This evening, at half past seven I was wondering what time the ferry might be coming in. The Hebridean Celtic Festival is due to start tomorrow, and the boat was probably heaving. Anyway, as above map shows, the ferry was south of the Point Peninsula, and due on 7 October at 8pm. OK, I won't hold my breath waiting then. Incidentally, the Isle of Lewis did put into port at 8.05pm, some 15 minutes later than normal.
