As part of Sail Hebrides 2007, a flotilla of small sailing boats was shepherded into Stornoway Harbour by the Coastguard tug Anglian Prince, between 4.30 and 5.30pm today. The weather was suitably dreich and cold. The crew of one boat insisted on sailing through the jets of water which the tug kept going.
The Hebridean Celtic Festival is kicking off in great style this evening with the first of three concerts in the Festival Arena - the big blue tent I showed yesterday. The ferry is busy running people across the Minch.
