Fairly nice day out here, with some brightness in between the clouds. The typhoon in the Pacific is strengthening slowly, threatening a direct hit on Okinawa with winds of 125 mph near its centre. The Japanese meteorological agency is issuing warnings for landfall on Friday the 13th.
The ferry is bringing festival goers to Stornoway, and when I get into town it is liable to be packed out. It starts tonight, but I don't know what's on the bill - I seem to remember I didn't like the line-up when that was announced in late March. Have a look for yourself on the Festival website.
