Magic Smoke

I have been blocked from making further entries on Magic Smoke. The reason why is unclear to me.

I will go so far as to say that AOL LLC is solely interested in making money off the backs of its users, without any due regard for their interests, whether these be tangible or otherwise, as in the case of J-land.

My entries on Magic Smoke have been nothing but helpful, and were not  critical of AOL or its policies. I have endeavoured to take work away from the Journals Team by answering questions and giving technical advice.

AOL, in cutting away the Journals service, is not interested in facilitating the transition to Blogger or making this as painless as possible.

  2. I agree totally Guido.  You were doing a lot to help.  Well, on their own heads be it, if they get into a mess they have only themselves to blame.  They did not like us speaking the truth. I am sorry you cannot post because I was following all that you said.  Can you please put advise for us on this journal.  As we were told that UK bloggers would not get the emails about the migration, we desperately need to know when and how etc.

  7. It's not you, I'm sure, it is as you say, AOL, LLC.  I'm sorry to hear this, however.

  12. You know, I have never, ever criticized AOL, I don't think.  When the ads came I was passive.  With this thing I've been passive.  My philosophy is keep it in perspective, calm heads will prevail, all will work out.  But THIS is really outrageous!!!  You have been nothing but helpful and from comments made on your entries, I know that others have benefited from them too.  I'll spread the word that you'll continue to give help here at Northern Trip.  Sheesh!
