Request

Anyone who knows of a blog by a deceased person they wish to preserve, please drop me a line.

Anyone who knows of a blog by a person who will not be in a position to effect the transition to Blogger themselves (through being ill, on holiday whatever), also drop me a line.

I have set up a Blogger account specifically for these instances. I hope to be able to save these journals; for the latter category, it is possible to transfer ownership later.

AS I WAS BLOCKED FROM MAGIC SMOKE, MY ADVICE ON THE TRANSITION WILL NOW APPEAR HERE. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.

    Well, blocked by Magic Smoke, okay, fine.  I can read you HERE< anyway:)  For now.

    There are a couple hardly ever updated but great journals out there; two I'll email the blogger about, when I have some time to do that.  Thanks for volunteering to assist all of us.  It helps, heck, it even helps me feel better about things.

    Thank you for all your hard work and trying to cut through all the crap that aol is handing out, it is appreciated. I hope that all the journals of our deceased friends that were already added to the Rememberance that Jeannette did will be saved? I am going through my address book and emailing anyone I have ever interacted with on journals just to let them know about this in the event that they have not done an entry in a while...it would be good for everyone to do that...get the word out because people still don't know about it. I already have facebook and put it up there and one of my "friends" was also a journaler for years and I didn't know it..so she was so surprised and upset. I also belong to Ebay and a neighborhood group there so I posted it too...they have like 4500 members so it should help too...take it easy...Sandi
