I would just like to flag up an entry by Lori (Helmswondermom), whose son managed to persuade a classmate to stay on in school, after the person concerned decided to drop out. Have a look here.

This was well worth reading. I wish there'd been someone who cared enough in my own life when I was growing up. My future would have certainly been different.

I always feel so happy when I listen or read about mothers' so good feelings about their children's actions, achievements or attitudes... These feelings are ever so powerful when it is concerned with our children. I even have tears I cannot stop when I am in the audience watching my son playing drum with his mates (who play an other instrument) and in front of an audience of parents. I feel proud, I am not sure why...
ReplyDeleteThere was so much to say about Lori's entry. I feel I'd rather leave it as it is; it is perfect as it is without me adding any comment.
Thanks Guido,
Valerie
