Looking forward

Once the stramash is over, and our journals are no longer hosted on AOL, I shall switch to a new journal, called Atlantic Lines.

  1. Do you know if we have to create two blogspot journals if we have two on AOL? I have a personal one and a recipe blog.
    Thank you.

  2. If you transfer your blogs from AOL to Blogger, you don't need to create anything. If you do make new journals, ensure their name is not the same as the ones you are carrying across.

  4. May I please ask a question and I know you must be exhausted with receiving so many emails.

Someone said we have to open an account with Download.com??? I did that but I don't know why.

I thought all we had to do was create a blogger.com address BTW...I have red.roses.are.read@gmail.com account and also rosesareread.blogspot.com
Both of the above were created a year ago.

My current email addresses with AOL Journals is
    http://journals.aol.com/rjsisti/roses-are-read/

    My second Journal is
    http://journals.aol.com/rjsisti/the-lantern/

In my blogger account I changed the name of the blog there to Red roses are read and for the other account I changed it to The Lantern 1962

Do I have to do anything else?  Can it be automatically transferred now?  I'm so confused and upset.  Not everyone is computer savy on the technical portion of it.

I have now downloaded anything yet as I don't know how.  is Hometown files for AOL Journals too.  I'm not JLander

    Help!

  5. Rjsisti: You don't open anything with download.com. You are fine with your Blogger account; please remember that it's YOU that's got to initiate the transfer, it will NOT be done FOR you. It's not an automatic process, if you don't do anything, nothing will happen.
