I do not readily promote petitions, but I'm making another exception. You may be aware that BBC reporter Alan Johnston disappeared in Gaza 3 weeks ago. His fate nor condition are known. A storm of protest is raging, and the BBC has featured an on-line petition for his release. Mr Johnston was the sole Western reporter in Gaza for 3 years, and his tour of duty was due to come to an end last Sunday.
Please sign the petition, and hopefully we'll get him out. He was only doing his job, and the BBC have gone on strike in the past to stand up for their impartiality.
