Donna [nightmaremom] has announced that she will no longer produce graphics for J-land. I am not privy to the details, but just want to record my deep disappointment that sheer pettiness appears to have succeeded in extinguishing one of J-land's leading lights.

I've 'spoken' to Donna through email. I know who this petty person is and I think she's just so mean and slightly paranoid too. I'm hoping Donna will come back one day, there's no one quite like her and she's always willing to help out with private requests, she's brightened so many journals and J-land won't be the same without her wonderful graphics. Donna is indeed a leading light in J-land. I understand her fusteration, but wish she wouldn't give up the fight to maintain who she is through her journal. Sigh! I'm already missing her, she was one of the first people who helped me out here. (Hugs) Indigo

Whatever's going on, it's against nature to be forced to cease creating what you enjoy. Talented people need an avenue of expression and this seems to have been a perfect one for Donna. I hope this doesn't leave a scar, after all she's human. We've lost something here, more than it seems, I'd say. CATHY
