Brilliantly sunny and warm day - was I complaining of pouring rain yesterday? Seems unimaginable now, doesn't it. Temperatures reached a balmy 19C / 66F this afternoon, which contrasted rather sharply with the miserly 11C / 52F from yesterday.
Tomorrow will see another cruiseliner in port: the Black Prince, a regular here, is touring the Western Isles, and is at St Kilda today.

That's how the weather is here. It can be dark and storming one day and sunny and 80F the next.

As of noon Thursday it was 80* on my front porch. Last night the temp in my bedroom was 88* when I went to bed. I fixed the fan to blow right on me all night. I guess it still wasn't cool enough for Gabi as I found her asleep on the bathroom linoleum floor this morning. Linda in sunny & warm western Washington
