Cruiseliner Arielle
This is an old lady of the seas, built in 1971 and refurbished in 1999. I think they added about 80 metres to her length. She now stretches 194 m / 650 ft. She is pictured below off the Arnish Lighthouse. You can see her on the webcam until about 5pm local time (that's some 4 hours after I submit this post).
Explorer is two years older than Arielle, and is actually a smaller boat. She lies docked alongside pier no 3.

I love the pictures of the ships. I went to the webcam too late - it`s dark. Even so, I was fascinated to watch a place so far away from me on it!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.

Impressive red ship. I do like these big photos of boats. Since something is still wrong with my slideshow and it only shows one and is tempermental about enlarging too. I am going to read Journal Joe's entry after I leave here. Gerry
