The storm has led to severe travel disruption in Scotland, as bridges across the Forth, the Tay and the Clyde have been closed. The many commuters from Fife, just across the Forth Road Bridge, now have to divert along the M9 motorway to Stirling, Perth and then on the M90 down into Fife.
Ferry services are disrupted, as are power supplies to 4,000 householders in central Scotland.
I've just worked my way through more than 100 alerts, which had accumulated since Monday. Whew!

Sounds like Scotland is getting hit hard. Hopefully, no harm will come to the people who live in the storm area. Interesting, there's a Fife here too...just north of Tacoma's city limits. Lots of daffodil and tulip fields there, along with miles of warehouses & business parks. Linda in Washington state

What a shame for those folks in Scotland with the nasty weather. The alerts can surely pile up if not checked for a day or two.

Stay safe and dry Guido. Don't go out wandering like you are known to do <smile>.
