Theme: Black and White.
Very often, my pictures have no colour in them (apart from grey), due to the weather conditions. Below picture was taken in March 2006, after a fall of snow left Sandwick Cemetery (a mile up the road) looking black and white. You'll be hard pressed to find any colour at all - apart from the blue in the sky.

great picture; very good use of the theme of black/white!

It is strange the way the light changes a scene before your eyes.
ReplyDeleteEven though the sky was blue the view looks bleak and wintry.
Good luck with this one Guido. I might try this out one day.

Stunning picture ! Linda in WA
ReplyDeleteI think this is a very striking photo. I don't know as I could get an overcast in Phoenix big enough to cut out the color. Overcast is rare here. So I will have to pass this subject up. Gerry
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo...have a great day...

Wonderful choice of the theme. Hauntingly realistic in the color choices. As the saying goes nothing in life is ever entirely Black and White. (Hugs) Indigo

Wow. What a striking photograph, Guido. The coloring of the photograph really lends itself to the scene. What a good choice. Thanks for participating in the JLand Photo Shoot. I hope you join in again.
