J-land Photoshoot #126

Theme: Black and White.

Very often, my pictures have no colour in them (apart from grey), due to the weather conditions. Below picture was taken in March 2006, after a fall of snow left Sandwick Cemetery (a mile up the road) looking black and white. You'll be hard pressed to find any colour at all - apart from the blue in the sky.

  2. It is strange the way the light changes a scene before your eyes.

Even though the sky was blue the view looks bleak and wintry.

Good luck with this one Guido.  I might try this out one day.

  6. I think this is a very striking photo.  I don't know as I could get an overcast in Phoenix big enough to cut out the color.  Overcast is rare here.  So I will have to pass this subject up.  Gerry

  10. Wonderful choice of the theme. Hauntingly realistic in the color choices. As the saying goes nothing in life is ever entirely Black and White. (Hugs) Indigo

  20. Wow.  What a striking photograph, Guido.  The coloring of the photograph really lends itself to the scene.  What a good choice.  Thanks for participating in the JLand Photo Shoot.  I hope you join in again.
