Inshore waters forecast for area from Ardnamurchan Point to Cape Wrath including Outer Hebrides from 1700 today until 1700 tomorrow.

Wind: Southeast becoming cyclonic 6 to gale 8, then becoming northwest severe gale 9 or storm 10, perhaps violent storm 11, backing west 6 to gale 8 later.

Sea state: Very rough or high, but rough in Minches

Weather: Rain or squally showers

Visibility: Moderate or poor.

    lead weights in your sox  and your `under crackers `  and you should be ok,
    will keep a look at the sky down here, and have a lasso handy ...... just in case..
