Guido your pictures are lovely I enjoyed accompaning you on your walk ,have you noticed ,if you are to read the text at the bottom of a picture the top third of the picture is obscured by adverts ....love Jan xx
No wonder you like to walk with such beautiful things as this to see!! I especially liked the seawall and cemetery wall, back toward the battery, the shoreline - and everything about Sandwick. I liked Stoneyfield farm too. But that ginger tom was so much like my old tom DB I had to smile. Thanks for the truly enjoyable journey, Guido! Great angles too. :-) CATHY http://journals.aol.com/luddie343/DARETOTHINK/
Beautiful pictures.... "No Dog Fouling" I need that sign on my front yard. Some people moved in about 2 years ago, two doors down from me, with four dogs. I never see them walk them, and since they moved here I am constanly picking doggie surprises up off my lawn. I want that sign...Linda in Washington state
I love when you share your pictures. Can you PLEASE hand your camera over to someone and let them take at least ONE picture of you in this beautiful place that you visit?!!!
Thank you again for that lovely "walk" as you know I am not able to have a nice long walk myself so it is great to be able to share yours (and Jeanies when she goes a walkin!!) I had a smile at no 15 the sign looks low enough for the dogs to read themselves !! Have a good weekend Love Sybil x
Another set of terrific pics Guido. I loved the mountains in the first picture. I had to chuckle at the sign for "Dog Fouling"..looks like a little dropping they picture behind the dog...I've never heard it called fouling either!!! The sheep look as though they know you and seemed eager to model for you. I thought the cat looked like my Rudy. The town looks so clean & pretty ~ I noticed the yield sign reads "Give Way", our signs are not so attractive. Nice group of pics, thanks for sharing them. Lisa
Thanks Guido...lovely pics as usual...you must be super fit...those gates seemed soo far away to even me LOL.LMAO at the dog fouling...nothing like that in this country...plenty of waste lying about sadly.Shauneen
Guido, I just watched the photos of your walk on Doc's computer. I was excited to feel as though I was walking about on an island north of Scotland with you. The thing a majig at the top is completely missing on my computer. I can get Youtube videos but not aol pictures. I have complained about this so many times, no more. I told Doc this computer is worth the price for that feature alone. Doc claimed that he bought it for me, but now I believe it. He also managed to find the Internet and my journal among favorites all by himself, so he can go back in my archives and see phiotos of his art and lots of opinions about him! He has talked about contacting his step kids in Texas he was with the longest and referring them to my journal, but he can't quite bring himsself to do it, yet. I was too blunt I guess. Gerry
