Madagascar is still coming to terms with the devastation wrought by Hurricane Ivan two weeks ago but another storm is already on its way. Jokwe is a tropical storm, so of a lesser magnitude than Ivan. It will traverse the extreme north of Madagascar tonight and tomorrow, then pass into the Mozambique Strait. The forecast does not yet extend to landfall, but when it does, Jokwe could well be a category 3 hurricane when it strikes Mozambique. I'll keep y'all posted.
