A few days ago, a skeleton was found in a tent near the Argyll village of Bridge of Orchy, some 65 miles north of Glasgow. The discovery was made by forestry workers who were clearing a trail through a plantation at Auch. After a trawl through the missing persons archive the identity of the man was confirmed today. Nicholas Randall was aged 31 when he went missing in April 2005. His car was found in Glen Nevis, 40 miles to the north, a few days after he was reported missing.

i am sorry he is gone but i bet his family will be SO grateful to know what happened to him,

I found it odd to read no suspicious circumstances, he was awfully young to disappear and die. What a shame for all.

its always sad to read these; but I think for the family its gotta be good to have some physical closure to a very horrific experience
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is if they haven't checked it out really good they should. That is a young age for someone to die unless he had something medically wrong with him. I mean some sort of known disease or physcial problem the family knew about. Helen
ReplyDeleteHaving that closure, just KNOWING, I'm sure is a relief even if sad that yes, he truly is gone.
ReplyDeleteHow dreadful for his parents after all this time.

Well at least it brings some closure to his poor family ..love Jan xx
ReplyDeleteI feel for his family who haas waited for almost 3 years, wondering where he was. Now at least their wait is over. Now they can lay him to rest. Linda in WA
