New entries

Regular readers of the blog will have received 12 new entries today, some adorned with formatting codes at the end of each entry. I have entered the text from the handwritten diaries into MS Word, and copy & pasted the text into AOL. The formatting codes are accidental, and have been removed in the final version. Apologies - further updates will follow in the days to come (Feb 1 - 14 and Feb 20 to March 6)
