Saw something on the news that made me frown. A photographer in the States is taking children into her studio, with their parents' consent, and gives them a lollypop. When she snatches the lollypop from the kids' hands, they start to cry. And this is where the photographer starts to take pictures. The resulting pictures have caused a stir, with some (children included) calling it child abuse. The photographer calls it art.
I don't like it.

I agree with you.

I don't like it, either. I think it's a sick idea.

This is torture indeed, and should be reported.
ReplyDeleteI see crying children in supermarkets, doctor's surgeries, hospitals, good god...to force a child to cry? it is abuse..and moreover, making money out of it is a downright immoral disgrace. It's passive torture...i hope she's stopped.Forever.
ReplyDeleteI remember once when I took my oldest child to get some so called professional pics done of him. When it was his turn to get up and do pics, he started crying and I couldn't get him calmed down. The photogaher got so mad he gave up on him and I had to pay for the photos and didnt' get any in return! Chump
