Teabreak

Here at Stornoway Airport, passengers have been getting all blown up over teabreaks. There are not enough air traffic controllers to provide a continuous service during the opening hours of 0700 to 1900 each day. As a result, the airport has to shut down for 30 minutes while the controllers go for their statutary teabreaks, a few times a day.

Local politicians have been inconvenienced, but if you can't get the staff, you can't get the staff. And what's wrong with the ferry service? I know the Clansman is a slower boat, but it's a better ship than our usual tub, the Isle of Lewis.

Fancy that, shutting down Heathrow because the air traffic controller needs his break?

  1. Hey-If they don't get a break then there may be a mishap because they were exhausted, then they would have something to really be mad about!!
