Molly Campbell saga

As promised an overview of the programme, shown tonight on BBC1 Scotland. It basically showed a family break-up over several years, worsened by cultural differences. It was depressing viewing, and I am actually glad to call a close on this saga.

  1. I missed the programme tonight Guido but I had guessed as much from what I had seen and read in the news. Especially when Molly's mum first came on to the TV to be interviewed.  Instinct told me to point a finger at her and not the father.
Its human nature to not want to stay with the parent who seems to be making another life apart from yours, and who isn't qute in control of themselves; and then asks you to drop everything you were brought up to believe in.  There would be no trust or consistency and that would rock yor faith in them. This saga to me was not about religion, the media wanted to play on that .The basic problem was Molly's insecurity with her Mum and her new partner.  Just my point of view as I saw it.  Jeanie
