Cloudy day but not feeling cold. Am looking out over the basin, which is running very dry, with a low tide of 0.1 metres. The high tide tonight will be 17 feet above that. The Isle of Lewis ferry has returned from refit at Birkenhead at 9 o'clock this morning, but the Clansman is doing today's ferry runs. Enjoyed some feathered friends frolicking around the bird feeders, and will put a short video of them on later.
