Departure

I was very sorry to hear that Jackie [siennastarr] has decided to leave J-land. One of the reasons for that was the underground pettiness that appears to be pervading our wee community. That's something which has popped up again over the last week, and it's just beyond belief. Journaling is something that's supposed to give pleasure, I think. I think she did supremely well in the aftermath of losing her job, and staying out there in the face of a barrage of barracking over the VIVIs. Anyway, I wish Jackie well.

    yep, ... I wonder if it is not because the Directory gets advertised everywhere kate goes ie: aol news blog, and she leaves the link there. Anyone can have then fun on the blogs. I'm glad I requested not to be on that directory.

    I, too...wish her well, & the several others that have gone private or left.
    I've been sick & had my alerts off the past couple of wks, so I'm in the dark to all this.
    I love my journals, all the lovely comments, & visiting others. I can't imagine it getting so bad I would leave. Hoping it never does.
    But I understand they have to do what they feel is right for them. I support that decision & send my prayers with them.

    I wish Jackie well also, & I remain surprised that anyone could muster up a bogus reason to resent or be jealous of her~ since I think that is what starts this kind of thing 99% of the time.  She seems too kind to inspire jealousy or resentment.  But then it is really about the Other person's mindset, not hers.

    I wish Jackie well too but it seems so unfair that bad feeling finds it`s way into J-Land.  It`s meant to be fun for all of us not to upset people or cause stress, it makes me cross to think that she felt she had to leave.

    Hello again....its sad to hear that Jackie left J-Land. I'm sure that she will be missed by many. Its sad to hear that anyone leaves J-Land. I have gotten to know many people so its hard to hear when someone says they are leaving. I hope you are not leaving you would be missed. Do take care and I shall return to read more of your news in the future.

    I'm going to miss her terribly. I loved reading her entries about her family.  It makes me so angry how cruel people can be.
