Today is 06/06/06, which comes very close to 666, the Number of the Beast, more concisely: the Devil. I tagged above image from a feature on a leading website (ahem), which explained all about other unlucky numbers such as 13. Anyway, I'm supposed not to be superstitious, so I'll touch wood, cross fingers, avoid walking under ladders, do not go near houses that have black cats in them (had one myself for 15 years, poor old Tom) and throw salt over the requisite shoulder if I spill some.
