Would like to recommend this picture gallery of a family in a remote corner of the already remote Falklands Islands, 8,000 miles south of the UK off southern Argentina in the South Atlantic.

Hi Guido, I REALLY enjoyed this. So interesting how they live. Thank you for sharing this.

When my daughter Kerry worked on the cruise ships, she visited the Falklands and had to act as a tour guide one day. She told me it was a very wild place but somehow quite peaceful too.

Interesting, fascinating way to be taught. (Hugs) Indigo
ReplyDeleteThat was fascinating Guido. I enjoyed learning all about Matthew and his family. Brilliant description from Susie"All those screaming kids, it was horrendous, like a penguin rookery. Lol! I suppose it must have seemed like that when they were used to the solitude. Thanks for this...I enjoyed it very much. Jeanie
ReplyDeleteA fascinating insight as to how the people in the Falklands live Guido. I can imagine it to be quite a bleak place in winter but I'd love to visit there in spring or summer. Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
