Pop your travel sickness pills, it's time for another trip on the Lewis buses. This time on the schoolbus from Sandwick to Stornoway. We start in Lower Sandwick, and go up North Street to Moss End. The video ends nearly 8 minutes later in Seaforth Road. By the way, the kids do tell one of their number to "fall over". Tsk.

Brave you to go on a school bus !! I had began to wonder where the bairns actually were..until the three got of the bus...They sure make enough noise though. It was interesting to see the "back roads" of the island, and the houses etc. Hope you are not snowed in. Still dry but cold down here in Wiltshire but fingers crossed no snow Have good day. Sybil x
ReplyDeleteI didn't need the travel sickness pills this time Guido....Lol! I enjoyed the journey. How lovely to hear children's voices. I so enjoyed walking my old dog past the infants school at playtime, when he was alive. Their voices are so free of inhibitions. Screams, laughter, commands.....playful banter. Just magic. I'm glad you chose the school bus that day. Jeanie
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the ride, Guido. I was suprised to see how green the lawns were at most of the houses along the way. With such a harsh winter such as you've had, I would have expected them to remain brown for at least another month. I like the looks of this area and would love to visit some day.
