Sunny morning in the islands, following a night of heavy rain. Yesterday saw 19C in Norwich, eastern England; we had to make do with 10C. Think I prefer our temperatures.
A new tropical cyclone has brewed up northeast of Madagascar, and that island is going to see 125 mph winds grazing its eastern coast as of Thursday. Cyclone Indlala is on a course that will take it parallel to the Malagasy coastline. Don't think they're going to like it, and I hope they're on the ball down there.
Although Cyclone George has disappeared, the reverberations continue in the communities it struck. Accusations against the mining company putting profits before people fly across the messageboards, and similarly against the port authorities.

We should count ourselves lucky here that, for the most part, our weather does not go to extremes.

We have grey drizzly weather here in the Lakes Guido. I shouldn't complain as compared to those in Madagascar this is what they no doubt would rather have instead of the impending storms they are about to receive. Scary!

We are so lucky in this country that such extreme weather doesn`t affect us.
