West Side Walk

As it is now pouring down with rain out here, I've decided to compile yet another photo video. This one is called West Side Walk, and leads from Carloway to Bragar, along the west coast of the island. It is (obviously) collated from pictures taken on different days. One note: I have included an image of a memorial plaque at Gearrannan, and you need to cast your eye down for the English text. The Gaelic heads the stone, and you may miss the English in the 5 seconds you have to read it.

As ever, give YouTube up to an hour (or a little more) to process the video before it is available for viewing. I am uploading the video at 5.30pm.

  4. WOW !!  So beautiful. There was one picture where I saw a rock formation in the background that looked like the Loch Ness Monster.  I loved the music also, at first I thought it might be Celtic Woman.  Thanks so much for sharing the pictures.  Linda in Washington state

  5. Guido you continue to feed my love of Scotland. I loved this one, the view of the ocean. The adorable little village was so awesome. One of these days I seriously want to visit this land of yours. (Hugs) Indigo
