Madeleine McCann

This saga appears to be taking a novel twist, with a letter being delivered to a newspaper in Holland. It contained a phrase in Dutch, suggesting a possible location where the body of Madeleine might be buried. This location is only a few miles from the resort where Madeleine, now aged 4, disappeared on May 3rd.

Another letter to the Telegraaf newspaper previously correctly reveiled the location of the bodies of two Belgian girls, who disappeared from the city of Liège a year ago.

Police are investigating the leads as a matter of course. Further details here.

  1. It is all very sad.  I have had the feeling for a long while that Maddie is dead.  For one thing, the massive publicity would frighten anyone holding her to get rid of her, awful to say but it is what I feel.  Nobody has come forward in regard to the one and a half million pound reward for information.  Whether this letter is true or not, I do hope that there will be an end to this one way or the other so that the McCanns can pick up the pieces (if that is possible) and get on with their lives.

  2. I have always felt it would be a miracle if they found her alive.  At least, after that first 24 hours I have.  I hope they get that miracle, but if they don't, then I hope they do at least find her.
