A few images from Stornoway Town Centre yesterday (pic 1) and today. The Celtic Festival and the Sail Hebrides Festival are in full swing, with packed ferries going back and forth, and the Narrows full of festival goers and tourists. The two are not necessarily complementary.

Nice pictures ..love Jan xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like your set for fun, lol, whats the name of the castle in the Bakdrop please? I bet both festivals are fun, I think the celtic one the more interesting of the two. I hope your week is not too disturbing with all the extra visitors.
ReplyDeletelove and hugs

The festival tent must be carted around the countryside as it looks similar to the one they were putting up on Skye when we visited there earlier this year.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking at thee photos and familiarising myself with Stornoway. Thanks Guido. Jeanie
Looks a nice place. I can't say I have ever been there or even know where it is.
